Alexandra Murphy
Assistant Director
Alexandra Murphy (she/her) is the assistant director at Martha's Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing and an editor of Page Street Publishing, where she is especially excited to be launching their new adult horror imprint. Alexandra's first two acquired titles include the 2026 Bram Stoker Awards® Nominee, The Faceless Thing We Adore, and former Cracked editor Robert Brockway’s I Will Kill Your Imaginary Friend for $200, both of which received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly. In addition to working with prolific authors, such as Mary SanGiovanni and J.W. Ocker, she absolutely loves championing new and unagented writers. When she’s not working, you can find her wandering Tucson bookstores with a Dunkin’ in her hand looking for something weird, dark, and funny to read.
