Summer Conference Payment Plan Option
To make attending our Summer Conference more accessible, we’re pleased to offer a payment plan option. This plan allows you to reserve your spot and spread the total cost over three scheduled payments.
Payment 1: Reserves Your Spot
The first payment is a $200 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. At this point, you will also choose the lodging you want (if interested in staying with MVICW) and the add-on editorial session. This is to secure lodging and an editorial session if you're interested, since these spots fill quickly. Your first payment covers the deposit, lodging, and editorial session. Please note that you won't be applying your fellowship code to these, as the fellowship covers registration only. We do recommend that you make this first payment as soon as possible to secure your spot.
Payment 2: First Half of Registration Balance
The second payment is 50% of the registration balance. Lodging Selection Note: If you registered for conference-provided lodging, please select the room size you originally registered for when completing this payment. This selection is for confirmation purposes only, and you will not be charged for lodging a second time.
Payment 3: Final Half of Remaining Registration Fees
The third and final payment covers the remaining half of the conference registration fee. Lodging Information
MVICW offers affordable lodging options for the duration of the conference, both at our event space and in shared cottages located within a 10-minute walk of the seminars. Lodging options are first-come, first-served and include:
A Private Ensuite Room (includes an attached private bathroom): $1275
A Private Room (without an ensuite bathroom): $1075
A Double Room (shared with one other attendee): $875
A Triple Room (shared with two other attendees): $675
Housing assignments will be determined based on information provided in the housing/roommate survey. All lodging options include access to a shared kitchen, shared bathrooms, and laundry facilities. Linens and towels are provided.

One-on-One Editorial Session Info
Editorial Feedback Sessions are available as a $150 add-on to your registration and includes a 45-minute one-on-one, in-person consultation with one of our Visiting Writers. You are able to submit an excerpt of prose or poetry following these guidelines:
For prose (fiction or CNF): submit a single prose piece of up to 15 double-spaced pages (standard 12 pt font, 1-inch margins, Times New Roman).
For poetry: submit up to 3-4 poems with a max page count of 8 pages or less (standard 12 pt font, Times New Roman).
During the session you'll receive individualized feedback and advice on what you submitted as well as be able to ask questions about craft elements or the process of seeking publication. When you upload your excerpt, there will be a place where you can give a brief summary of the piece as well as specify what you would like the focus of the session to be.
The fee is non-refundable and the submission is due by end of day April 1st. We are not able to accept late submissions, and missing the deadline does result in a non-refundable loss of payment since spaces are limited and reserved at the time of registration.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made before April 1st are eligible for a refund of all registration payments made, less the $200 non-refundable deposit. Lodging costs will only be refunded provided we are able to fill your vacated room. One-on-One Editorial Feedback Sessions are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and reserved at the time of registration.
Cancellations made on or after April 1st are eligible for a 50% refund of registration payments made, excluding the $200 non-refundable deposit. 50% of lodging will be refunded only if we are able to fill the vacated room. One-on-One Editorial Feedback Sessions are non-refundable, as spaces are limited and reserved at the time of registration.
